Working together

Public Pages and the Community: Publishing Designs, Profiles and Company Pages

Publish a design to the community gallery, choose what its public view shows, make a public page for yourself or your company with your work, services and contact details, and credit the people you worked with.

Publish a design

1. On your dashboard, open the project's options and press **Publish**.

2. Give it a title, a description (the text people see on the card and in search results), a category and up to eight tags.

3. Choose its cover image. It starts as the floor plan; a picture of the 3D view usually looks better.

4. Choose **what the public view shows**: some layers, such as services and alarms, are left out unless you tick them.

5. Press **Publish to community**. The design gets its own page in the [community gallery](/community), which anyone can open and search engines can find.

The design's page opens it in 3D, and also on its plan and its elevations, all view only.

About the project

Optional, for people who hire: the **kind of project** (new build, extension or renovation), **concept or built** with its year, the **town**, a **budget** band shown as indicative, and **photos of the finished building**.

**Published by**: publish it as yours or as your company's.

**Credits**: credit the people and companies who worked on it. A credit shows once they confirm it.

People who live in a published house can ask for it to be taken down from its page.

Your public page

In your profile, make a public page at your own handle: your name, photo and a short bio, what you do and your trades, your town and how far you travel, whether you are taking new work, your languages, your companies and your website.

**Services and prices**: what you offer and for how much, always shown as indicative.

**How clients reach you**: an email, a phone number and links to your social media, each optional. Clients contact you directly; Home 3D Plan is not part of it.

Your page lists the designs you published and the ones you are credited on.

A company's page

A company's admin edits its page from the company panel: about, town and reach, team size, the year it was founded, its website, its registrations (shown as self declared), its services and how clients reach it.

The people who show the company on their own page are listed on it, with the projects published as the company's.

Being found

Everyone with a public page and every company with one is in [People and companies](/community/people), which can be filtered by what people do, whether they are available, and the kind of company.

Taking your page down or deleting your account removes it.

Frequently asked questions

Does Home 3D Plan take a cut when a client contacts me?

No. Clients contact you directly by the email, phone or social links you choose to show. Home 3D Plan is not part of that contact.

Will my published design show where the house is?

No. The public view leaves out the location set for the sun, and you choose which layers it shows.
