Bench Design
Entry, hall and dining benches: a seat as long as the space, on posts, tapered legs or end panels, with an arched skirt if you like and a back of slats or a panel.

How benches are designed
Open Custom furniture
In the editor, open Furnish and choose Custom furniture, or type CUSTOM (CF). The presets open, by kind.
Place it
Pick a bench, then click where it goes, in the hall or along a table.
Shape it
Change its length, depth and seat height, the legs and skirt, and add a back.
Get the cut sheet
The cut sheet counts every board and nests it on stock sheets, with the edge tape, timber and hardware.
Benches questions, answered.
How long can a bench be?
From 0.8 to 2.4 m, with a seat 0.28 to 0.55 m deep.
Can a bench have a back?
Yes. Turn the backrest on and choose slats or a solid panel, and its height.
Can I get a cutting list?
Yes. The cut sheet lists the boards, nests them on a stock sheet size you choose, and adds up the edge tape, timber, hardware and machining.
