Grow a tree in seconds.
Design custom trees and bushes with sliders — no 3D skills. Start from 29 presets across 12 species, shape branches, bark, and leaves with a live 3D preview, then plant them (and grass) in your home design. Free, in your browser.
Pick a species
Twenty-nine presets, twelve species
Oak, maple, ash, aspen, birch, poplar, willow, olive, pine, cypress and more — in small, medium, and large. Choose one and a full 3D tree appears instantly.
Shape it
Every branch and leaf is a slider
Tune tree type, branch levels, growth direction, gnarliness, taper, twist, bark, and leaf count, size, angle, and tint — with a live 3D preview. Shuffle the seed for a brand-new tree; the same seed always regrows the same one.
Plant it
Trees, bushes, and grass in your design
Click to place any plant on the ground in the home editor, then rotate, scale, and reseed it. Draw grass lawns with adjustable density, height, and color, and add trellises for climbing plants.
A garden, grown from parameters
Design it free, right in your browser
Every plant is a tiny editable recipe, not a heavy mesh — reshuffle a seed, retint the leaves, and drop trees, bushes, and grass into your home design.
A procedural plant studio, in one tab.
Procedural generator
Built on the open-source EZ-Tree engine — every plant is grown from parameters, not a fixed model.
29 presets, 12 species
Oak, maple, pine, birch, willow, olive, cypress and more, in small, medium, and large — plus bushes.
Full parametric control
Tune trunk, branch levels, growth force, gnarliness, taper, twist, and leaf size and tint, live in 3D.
Deterministic seeds
Shuffle for a new shape; the same seed always regrows the exact same tree, so designs are reproducible.
8 leaves, 11 barks
Swap foliage and bark to dial in the look — deciduous canopies, evergreen pines, fall-color liquidambar.
Grass & landscaping
Draw GPU-instanced grass lawns and add trellises and landscape blocks for a complete yard.
Plant design questions, answered.
What is the Tree Generator?
It is a free, in-browser procedural plant designer. Built on the open-source EZ-Tree engine, it grows trees and bushes from parameters — so you can shape a plant with sliders instead of modeling it by hand.
How many trees can I make?
There are 29 built-in presets across 12 species — oak, maple, ash, aspen, birch, poplar, willow, olive, pine, cypress and more, in small, medium, and large. Because every plant is fully parametric, the variations are effectively unlimited.
Do I need 3D skills to design a tree?
No. Pick a preset and tune labeled controls — tree type, seed, bark, branch levels, growth direction, gnarliness, taper, twist, and leaf count, size, angle, and tint — with a live 3D preview. No modeling required.
What are seeds?
Every plant grows from a seed number. Click Shuffle for a brand-new shape, and the same seed always regenerates the exact same tree — so your designs are reproducible and each placed plant can have its own seed.
Can I place trees and grass in my home design?
Yes. In the home editor, use Landscape › Tree to click-place any tree or bush on the ground, then rotate, scale, and reseed it. Draw grass lawns with Landscape › Grass and adjust their density, height, and color.
Do the trees bloat my project file?
No. Plants are saved as compact parametric recipes — hundreds of bytes, not heavy meshes — embedded in your project file, so it stays small and every plant remains fully editable.
Is there grass and other landscaping?
Yes — draw GPU-instanced grass lawns with adjustable density, height, and color, add trellises for climbing plants, and place solid landscape blocks for berms and planters.
How is this different from Furniture Studio?
The Tree Generator grows plants from a procedural engine; Furniture Studio builds furniture from parametric generators. Both let you design in seconds with sliders and place the result in your Home 3D Plan rooms.
