Working together
Teams and Sharing: Share Links, Members, Roles, Companies and Notifications
Share a project by link or by email invite, give people a role, work on one project with others, keep a company with its members and projects, give each person their trade, and follow comments, issues and reviews.
Share a project
Press **Share** in the editor. It has three links and an invite:
**Edit link**: people who open it and sign in join the project as editors.
**Comment link**: they join as commenters, who see the project and comment on it.
**View link**: turns on the public view of the project, which anyone can open in a browser without an account. It shows the design, not the location you set for the sun.
**Invite a person**: type their email address and pick their role. The invite is for that address only, can be used once, and lasts 7 days.
Links last 30 days. Turning a link off removes the people who joined through it.
Members and roles
**Owner**: the project's owner; ownership moves to someone else only when they accept it.
**Editor**: changes the project.
**Commenter**: sees it and comments.
**Viewer**: sees it.
**People with access** in the Share dialog lists everyone, with their role. The owner can remove anyone; anyone can leave.
Your dashboard shows All, Mine and Shared with me.
Working on one project
**Changes**: what a member saves reaches the others as it lands. If you have unsaved work when someone else's change arrives, you are offered it rather than having it applied over your work.
**Who is here**: the others in the project and their cursors, by name.
**Comments**: the comments button beside Share.
**Issues**: a member can file an issue at the view they are looking at; the owner and editors assign it and close it.
**Versions**: publish a version for review; a member approves it or declines it with a note. Published versions are kept.
**Your view**: where you are looking, your storey and your layer switches are yours, and are not saved over anyone else's.
Companies and trades
**A company**: make one from your profile, invite members by email, and make projects in it.
**Roles on a project**: the owner ticks each person's roles: Architect, Structural engineer, Interior designer, Civil and site engineer, Services engineer, Project lead, Estimator, Client or reviewer.
**Trades**: a person's roles decide which tools their rail shows and which layers they can change; other trades' layers are locked for them, and say why.
**Change notices**: when another trade changes something your work depends on, you are told, with a button to show it.
A company project is saved as separate parts per discipline, so two trades working at once do not overwrite each other.
Notifications
The bell lists comments on your projects, issues assigned to you, reviews of your versions and credits.
What is still unread after half an hour is sent to you by email, at most one email at a time. Profile › Emails turns the emails off.

Frequently asked questions
Can someone without an account see my project?
Only through the View link, which turns on the public view: anyone with it can look at the design in their browser. Editing and commenting need an account.
What happens if two people change the project at once?
Each saved change reaches the other. If you have unsaved work when another change arrives, you are offered it instead of having it applied over your work.
